The thesis is focused on the creation of an interactive science center in this case is located beside the UNAM campus in the city of Morelia, Michoacan. The peculiarity of this complex is the fact that it is located between various land for bachelorDegreeWork educational complexes and that this serves as a link or transition zone with the UNAM campus. The design focuses on this urban function there, raising the building and leaving a completely open floor plan, which translates as a place where outdoor display is the protagonist, prompting users traveling on that, without the need having to enter the building. It is a building that honors and respects its natural environment, and that none of the trees planted in the ground removed, relocated within the same to allow free growth; this is also a building during the course of the user gives sample of his environment, having an exterior corridor rooms but covered by glass and a skin having the function of controlling the incidence of sunlight so that it is not too much to avoid prejudicing the exhibits but also has free views to the outside and thus enjoy together with exhibitions and activities to do. So it is a building that gives more of himself than it takes from its environment, is a building in continuous interaction with the user, its natural immediate environment and the evolving of new technologies; to give an informal teaching that every complex can be balanced and restore an important part of the urban function.
La tesis está centrada en la creación de un Centro de Ciencias Interactivo, en este caso está ubicado junto al Campus UNAM en la ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán. La peculiaridad de este complejo, es el hecho que está situado entre varios terrenos destinados a otros complejos educativos y que este funge como zona de enlace o transición con el campus UNAM. El diseño se centra en que se cumpla esta función urbana, elevando el edificio y dejando una planta totalmente libre, que se traduce como una plaza donde la exhibición al aire libre es la protagonista, incitando a los usuarios a que la recorran, sin la necesidad de tener que entrar al edificio. Es una edificación que hace honor y respeta su entorno natural, ya que no se retira ninguno de los arboles plantado en el terreno, se reubican dentro del mismo para permitir su libre crecimiento; así también es un edificio que durante el recorrido del usuario le da muestra de su entorno, teniendo un pasillo exterior de las salas pero cubierto por vidrio y una piel, teniendo la función de controlar la incidencia de la luz solar de forma que no sea demasiada para no perjudicar las exposiciones pero a la vez tenga libre vistas hacia el exterior y así disfrutarlo, junto con las exposiciones y actividades a realizar. Así pues es un edifico que da mucho más de sí que lo que le quita a su entorno, es un edificio en interacción continua con el usuario, su entorno inmediato natural y la evolutiva de las nuevas tecnologías; para dar una enseñanza informal de que todo complejo puede ser equilibrado y devolverle una parte importante a la función urbana.
