Abstract

Morelia is considered one of the main tourist destinations at a national level because of its architectural, cultural and gastronomical richness, where tourists can enjoy these aspects and make use of hotels during their stay in the city. If tourism flows in a consistent manner, there will be demand in hotels and consequently the city and state may have a significant economic impact. During the year, the city of Morelia has different attractive dates for tourism, such as the Monarch Butterfly Season, the Holy Week, the Summer Vacation Period, the Film Festival of Fantastic and Morbid Terror, Morelia Film Festival, Day of the Dead, Cultural Tourism Fair, the International Music Festival of Morelia, the Meeting of Michoacán Traditional Cooks, and New Year Holiday Period. Therefore the tourist needs a new and attractive proposal of a Boutique Hotel that fulfills the demand of accommodation required and thus satisfies the hotel demand. The city has only eight hotels that fulfill with the quality standards that certify a Boutique Hotel, but these are not enough to accomplish the demand of tourists who visit us, so it is necessary to project a Boutique Hotel in order for tourists to have a greater supply availability during their stay in the city and consequently have a better economic impact on tourism. This document presents a detailed investigation of the topic to be developed that is called "Boutique Hotel", which is intended to be carried out in this beautiful colonial city of Morelia.

Morelia se considera uno de los principales destinos turísticos a nivel nacional gracias a su riqueza arquitectónica, cultural y gastronómica, donde los turistas pueden disfrutar de estos aspectos y hacen uso de los hoteles a lo largo de su estancia en la ciudad. Si el turismo fluye de una manera constante, habrá demanda en los hoteles y por consecuente la ciudad y el estado podrán tener una derrama económica importante. Durante todo el año la ciudad de Morelia cuenta con distintas fechas que son atractivas para el turismo tales como: la Temporada De La Mariposa Monarca, el Periodo Vacacional De Semana Santa, el Periodo Vacacional De Verano, el Festival de Cine Fantástico y de Terror Mórbido, el Festival de Cine de Morelia, la Noche de Muertos, la Feria de Turismo Cultural, el Festival Internacional de Música de Morelia, el Encuentro de Cocineras Tradicionales de Michoacán y el Periodo Vacacional de Fin de Año. Por tal motivo el turista necesita una nueva y atractiva propuesta de Hotel Boutique que cumpla con la demanda de hospedaje que requiere y así satisfacer la demanda hotelera. La ciudad cuenta solamente con 8 Hoteles que cumplen con los estándares de calidad que certifican a un Hotel Boutique, pero estos no alcanzan a cubrir la demanda de los turistas que nos visitan, de tal manera que se pretende proyectar un Hotel Boutique para que así los turistas tengan una mayor oferta de disponibilidad durante su estadía en la ciudad y por consecuente tenga una mayor derrama económica en el ámbito turístico. En este documento se presenta una investigación detallada del tema a desarrollar denominado “Hotel Boutique” que se pretende realizar en esta bella y colonial ciudad de Morelia.
