Abstract

Ihuatzio is an Indigenous community located on the banks of Lake Patzcuaro Michoacán, currently more than 51% of its people earn income through handicrafts plant fiber known as Chuspata, since many years has been the only source of income for families of this site, however due to the low costs that tend to be bought many artisans choose to engage in commerce, hoping for a better income for their families. Today many families have benefited Ihuatzio thanks to a new technique combining vegetable fibers with ornamental ironwork and whose acquisition cost is being accepted by buyers regardless of their high prices. Only 10% of the artisans have the opportunity to resort to a shop and get a job either blacksmith or weaver, the bachelorDegreeWork 90% only survives products basketry with wages below the minimum wage established by law. The Centre Artisan is a space distribution and sale of handicrafts through a cooperative society, which will benefit anbachelorDegreeWork 30% more artisans directly and generally to the community of Ihuatzio due to be linked in different ways to the archaeological zone thus achieving an increase in the influx of tourists. This space will be made with materials from the region to maintain ecological balance and harmonize in the community, materials in the best way possible to be used to obtain functional and welcoming spaces that allow a good job growth to its users. This building is intended that Ihuatzio people improve their income and can reach a better future

Ihuatzio es una comunidad Indígena situada en la rivera del lago de Pátzcuaro Michoacán, actualmente más del 51% de sus pobladores obtienen ingresos a través de sus artesanías de fibra vegetal conocida como Chuspata, desde hace muchos años ha sido la única fuente de ingreso de las familias de este sitio, sin embargo, debido a los bajos costos en los que suelen ser compradas muchos artesanos optan por dedicarse al comercio, esperando tener un mejor ingreso para sus familias. Hoy en día diversas familias de Ihuatzio se han visto beneficiadas gracias a una nueva técnica que combina las fibras vegetales con la herrería artística y cuyo costo de adquisición resulta ser aceptado por los compradores sin importar sus elevados precios. Únicamente el 10% de los artesanos tiene la oportunidad de recurrir a un taller y conseguir trabajo ya sea de herrero o tejedor, el otro 90% únicamente sobrevive con productos de cestería con salarios por debajo del salario mínimo establecido por la ley. El Centro de Producción Artesanal es un espacio de distribución y venta de artesanías a través de una Sociedad cooperativa, que beneficiara a otro 30% más de artesanos de manera directa y en general a la comunidad de Ihuatzio debido a que se vinculara en diferentes maneras a la zona Arqueológica logrando con esto el incremento en la afluencia de turistas. Este espacio se realizará con materiales de la región para mantener un equilibrio ecológico y armonizar en la comunidad, se utilizarán los materiales de la mejor manera posible para obtener espacios funcionales y acogedores que permitan un buen crecimiento laboral hacia sus usuarios. Con esta edificación se pretende que los pobladores Ihuatzio mejoren sus ingresos económicos y puedan llegar a tener un mejor futuro.
