The present work shows a theoretical investigation and the planimetry elaboration of the Center for Rehabilitation and Training for the Disabled that took place in Santiago Undameo, Tenencia de Morelia, Michoacán, during the period between the 9th and 10th semesters of the Architecture degree. The purpose of the project is to meet the demand of the population with disabilities living in the tenancy and in the nearby communities. To do this, it is necessary to build a center that has adequate facilities, and so that people have a rehabilitation that helps them to have a physical recovery. The project was justified due to the fact that there is no Rehabilitation Center for adults and children in the Santiago Undameo Tenancy, which is why it is considered important to address the problem of lack of adequate facilities for people with disabilities. Center for Rehabilitation and Integral Training for the Disabled was resolved in two phases and will provide its rehabilitation, training and diagnosis services directly to the population. The project takes advantage of the natural resources by means of interior patios and large windows that allow lighting and natural ventilation that allows to have a reduction in the consumption of electrical energy.
El presente trabajo muestra una investigación teórica y la elaboración planimetría del Centro de Rehabilitación y Formación para Discapacitados que se realizó en Santiago Undameo, Tenencia de Morelia, Michoacán, durante el periodo comprendido entre los semestres 9º y 10º de la carrera de Arquitectura. El propósito de realizar el proyecto, es solventar la demanda de la población con discapacidad que vive en la tenencia y en las comunidades cercanas. Para ello es necesario construir un centro que cuente con instalaciones adecuadas, y así lograr que las personas tengan una rehabilitación que les ayude a tener una recuperación física. El proyecto se justificó debido a que no existe, en la Tenencia de Santiago Undameo, un Centro de Rehabilitación para adultos y niños, y es por eso que se considera importante abordar la problemática de la falta de instalaciones adecuadas, para las personas con discapacidad. Centro de Rehabilitación y Formación Integral para Discapacitados fue resuelto en dos fases y brindara sus servicios de rehabilitación, capacitación y diagnóstico de manera directa a la población. El proyecto aprovecha los recursos naturales por medio de patios interiores y grandes ventanales que permiten iluminación y ventilación natural que permite tener una reducción en los consumos de energía eléctrica.
