Residencia universitaria para alumnos e investigadores foráneos de la UNAM campus Morelia en tenencia Morelos

Abstract

The University residence its a project designed to accommodate foreign students that have an educational or professional relationship with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in the city of Morelia. The project is realised thinking of giving solution to the housing problem in an area of growth, where the equipment and the urban infrastructure is growing as well, and at the same time, educational units like the campus of the UNAM Morelia helps the city receive more students and professionals from the rest of the state, resulting in this need of a new accommodation environment. One of the factors that make this project viable is the location of the lot, just a few meters from the main entrance of the campus, helping future users that might be visiting the city for the first time to find in the university residence the best option of accommodation because of time, comfort and budget. The project is based on foreign students, where surveys and conversations with them about their needs to cover like comfort, security, services, private spaces and spaces for social recreation, give to the project solid and real answers to create a complete design. In the design of the building, the orientation is north to south, designing a main hall that divides horizontally the spaces of multiple and housing use, with the functionality of those being the main facades of the project and they receive sunlight and natural ventilation. Concluding, it’s expected that the users and the University residence designed for them, can be their new home. That, thanks to the studies on social, architectonic, environmental data and the regulations included in the present document, the university residence is designed so that the spaces are functional and of the greatest comfort.

La residencia universitaria es un proyecto diseñado para usuarios foráneos que tengan una relación educativa o profesional en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México en la ciudad de Morelia. Se realiza el proyecto pensando en dar solución a un problema habitacional inexistente en una zona de crecimiento, en donde el equipamiento y la infraestructura urbana está en una etapa de crecimiento que, al mismo tiempo, unidades educacionales como el campus UNAM ahora en Morelia hace que la ciudad reciba más estudiante y profesional foráneo con la necesidad de poder hospedarse en un nuevo ambiente. Uno de los factores que hacen el proyecto viable es la ubicación del predio, que se encuentra a unos metros de la entrada principal del campus, haciendo factible que futuros usuarios que a lo mejor es la primera vez que visitan la ciudad de Morelia encuentren en la residencia universitaria por tiempo, confort y económicamente, la mejor opción de hospedaje. El proyecto se basa en los usuarios foráneos, en donde encuestas y pláticas con los mismos usuarios acerca de sus necesidades a cubrir como: confort, seguridad, servicios, espacios privados y de recreación social, aportan al proyecto con respuestas sólidas y reales para un diseño más completo. Dentro del diseño del edificio radica una forma horizontal de norte a sur, diseñado un corredor principal que divide de manera longitudinal los espacios de usos múltiples y habitacional, con la funcionalidad de que sean las fachadas principales del proyecto y reciban la luz del día y la ventilación natural. Concluyendo, se espera que los usuarios y la residencia universitaria diseñada para ellos, se convierta en su nuevo hogar. Que, gracias a los estudios de datos social, arquitectónicamente, ambiental, y las normas correspondientes plasmadas dentro del documento, la residencia universitaria se diseña de manera en que los espacios habitables sean funcionales y de mayor confort.
