With the passage of time, the state of Michoacán has undergone considerable changes that directly impact the functioning of cities; Hidalgo, the seventh largest city in the state, is not exempt. For it suffers like any other of the municipalities constant deficiencies with regard to urbanization, equipment, and general operation. In Michoacán the population index has grown disproportionately, and as a consequence the mortality rate is increasing, the problem is that even though cities grow; "The spaces remain the same". In the state it is estimated that 5.7 people die out of every 1000 inhabitants per year, triangulating amounts; Hidalgo registers 566.40 annual deaths of which 33% of the total, have problems to receive dignified and legal burial. The operation of existing pantheons to date is completely chaotic. The development plan of internal growth, in the respective distribution, and lotification is completely affected, the equipment to notice the need for space occupation, have modified their original prototype, generating excessive overpopulation and deplorable and unhealthy conditions in the interior thereof. In addition, funeral vigils in the city, have been becoming a road and social chaos, which promotes immobility in major roads, are fully adapted to the use spaces with which they operate. This project promotes the compact centralization of an equipment, generating at the same time completely new spaces and designed specifically to satisfy the needs of the inhabitants of the city and its surroundings. Covering an estimated life span between 15 and 20 years of functional service without problems, presetting a pattern of growth, orderly and homogeneous.
Con el paso del tiempo, el estado de Michoacán ha venido sufriendo cambios considerables que impactan directamente el funcionamiento de las ciudades; Hidalgo, la séptima ciudad más grande del estado, no queda exenta. Pues sufre al igual que cualquier otro de los municipios carencias constantes con respecto a la urbanización, equipamiento, y funcionamiento general. En Michoacán ha crecido desmesuradamente el índice poblacional, así como por consecuencia va en aumento el índice de mortalidad, el problema es que a pesar de que las ciudades crecen; “los espacios siguen siendo los mismos”. En el estado se estima que fallecen 5.7 personas de cada 1000 habitantes al año, triangulando cantidades; Hidalgo registra 566.40 decesos anuales de los cuales un 33% del total, tienen problemas para recibir digna y legal sepultura. El funcionamiento de los panteones existentes a la fecha es un caos completamente. El plan de desarrollo de crecimiento interior, en lo respectivo a distribución, y lotificación se ve completamente afectado, los equipamientos al notar la necesidad por la ocupación espacial, han modificado su prototipo original, generando una sobrepoblación excesiva y condiciones deplorables e insalubres en el interior de los mismos. Además, los centros fúnebres de velación en la ciudad, se han venido convirtiendo en un caos vial y social, que propicia la inmovilidad en vialidades principales, son totalmente espacios adaptados hacia el uso con que funcionan. Dicho proyecto promueve la centralización compacta de un equipamiento, generando a su vez espacios completamente nuevos y diseñados específicamente para satisfacer la necesidad de los pobladores de la ciudad y sus alrededores. Cubriendo un lapso de vida estimado entre los 15 a 20 años de servicio funcional y sin inconvenientes, preestableciendo un patrón de crecimiento, ordenado y homogéneo.
