Centro cultural Cóatl. Inclusión de cultura para el desarrollo social en Acuitzio del Canje, Michoacán

Abstract

When a population stagnates in its development, different factors influence, from the economic aspect, to its formation as a society. This thesis, aims to directly attack this social backwardness, through the new construction called Centro Cultural Cóatl, meeting the needs that Acuitzio del Canje has presented since previous years for the good cultural performance of its inhabitants that, for political reasons, has been hampered by problems with the board that owns the current House of Culture Juana de Arco. The project aims to rescue the artistic values and creators of the regional cultural identity, so that the population has specific spaces to deal with these activities. With the construction of Centro Cultural Cóatl as an independent body to the board, and the increase in the dissemination of the workshops and courses taught, we aspire to achieve cultural growth, which promotes social cohesion disseminated by its beneficiaries through music presentations, dance and theater, and with exhibitions that are the result of the workshops of pottery, feather art, drawing, painting and illustration, etc. In order to obtain the financial viability of the work execution, a government support program (PAICE) is used and it is resolved in two stages of construction, in which the classrooms, workshops and offices are completed as a first instance; to conclude with the theater and terrace that integrates the green roof and counteracts the footprint that the building causes when it is built.

Cuando una población se estanca en su desarrollo, influyen distintos factores que van desde lo económico, hasta su formación como sociedad. La presente tesis de licenciatura, pretende atacar directamente ese rezago social, por medio de la nueva construcción llamada Centro Cultural Cóatl, atendiendo las necesidades que Acuitzio del Canje ha presentado desde años anteriores para el buen desempeño cultural de sus habitantes que, por cuestiones políticas, se ha dificultado por problemas con el patronato que es dueño de la actual Casa de la Cultura Juana de Arco. El proyecto anhela rescatar los valores artísticos y creadores de la identidad cultural regional, de manera que la población cuente con espacios específicos para desenvolverse en estas actividades. Con la edificación del Centro Cultural Cóatl como organismo independiente al patronato, y el incremento a la difusión de los talleres y cursos impartidos, se aspira a lograr un crecimiento cultural, que propicie una cohesión social difundida por sus beneficiarios a través de presentaciones de música, danza y teatro, y con exhibiciones que sean resultado de los talleres de alfarería, arte plumario, dibujo, pintura e ilustración, etcétera. Para obtener la viabilidad financiera de la ejecución de obra, se recurre a un programa de apoyo gubernamental (PAICE) y se resuelve en dos etapas de construcción, en la que se completan como primera instancia las aulas, talleres y oficinas; para concluir con el teatro y terraza que se integra a la azotea naturada y contrarresta la huella que el edificio causa al desplantarse en el terreno.
