The accelerated growth experienced by the cities in the twentieth century to generate a greater life expectancy in these, generated accelerated planning, where different human settlements were generated irregularly and disconnected from the urban core of the city, resulting in the reduction or null public spaces that generate a greater social cohesion or where a greater urban life of the different inhabitants is generated. These disconnections to the urban nucleus generated large urban gaps between the different settlements, generating large tracts of land or empty buildings that consequently saw the appearance of unsafe and unhealthy environments that happened to directly affect the urban life of different users, coupled with this. It favored a greater use of the automobile, given that all the productive activity was generated in the urban centers and these users have the need to transport both their places of origin to their places of work, generating the appearance of the different modes of transport and a greater road infrastructure. Public spaces are essential in the daily life of different users, given that they are spaces where a greater social cohesion is generated among the different inhabitants, generating in this way a greater participation of the community being these the main actors of the space within the development of the different communities and in this way generate spaces where different activities are incected in different economic, social, cultural and recreational areas. In the same way, generate spaces with a more inclusive approach, where users with different capacities have spaces according to their needs and in this way generate different functional spaces in the long term.
El crecimiento acelerado que experimentaron las ciudades en el siglo XX al generarse una mayor esperanza de vida en estas mismas, genero una planeación acelerada, donde los diferentes asentamientos humanos se generaron de manera irregular y desconectado del núcleo urbano de la ciudad, teniendo como consecuencia la reducción o nulos espacios públicos que generen una mayor cohesión social o donde se genera una mayor vida urbana de los diferentes habitantes. Dichas desconexiones al núcleo urbano generaron grandes vacíos urbanos entre los diferentes asentamientos, generando grandes extensiones de terrenos o construcciones vacíos que por consecuencia se veía la aparición de ambientes inseguros e insalubres que pasaban afectar directamente la vida urbana de los diferentes usuarios, aunado a esto se propiciaba una mayor utilización del automóvil, dado que toda la actividad productiva se generaba en los núcleos urbanos y dichos usuarios tienen la necesidad de transportarte tanto a sus lugares de origen a sus lugares de trabajo, generando la aparición de los diversos modos de transportes y una mayor infraestructura vial. Los espacios públicos son esenciales en la vida diaria de los diferentes usuarios, dado que son los espacios donde se genera una mayor cohesión social entre los diferentes habitantes, generando de esta manera una mayor participación de la comunidad siendo estos los actores del espacio principales dentro del desarrollo de las diferentes comunidades y de esta manera generar espacios donde se incentiven diversas actividades en diferentes ámbitos tanto económicos, sociales, culturales y recreativos. De igual manera generar espacios con un enfoque más inclusivo, donde los usuarios con diferentes capacidades cuenten con espacios de acuerdo a sus necesidades y de esta manera generar diversos espacios funcionales a largo plazo.
