Centro comunal y de artes JIUATSïO. Espacio para las manifestaciones artísticas y el fortalecimiento de la identidad indígena y comunal en Ihuatzio, Michoacán

Abstract

The thesis topic that was developed in this document is the project of the Community and arts Center JIUATSÏO. Space for the artistic manifestations and the strengthening of the indigenous and communal identity in Ihuatzio, Michoacán. The JIUATSÏO Community Center project was designed as a space open to all the inhabitants of the community, whose purpose is to serve as a place for the realization of cultural, artistic and civil activities; with the purpose of enhancing the local culture, the indigenous identity and reinforcing the feeling of belonging. Spaces for painting workshops, music, visual and performing arts, as well as for the exhibition of graphic works, concerts, talks, lectures, dance and other activities make up this center In order to find the architectural solution, user data (their way of living, thinking, acting) as well as geographical physical data and the urban, technical and functional environment were analyzed. The final proposal is a contemporary building, which is contextualized with the place where it was projected. The urban image of the community is the one that defines the visual language of the center and takes as reference the colors, textures, materials and constructive processes that shape the formal environment.

El tema de tesis que se desarrolló en este documento es el proyecto del Centro comunal y de artes JIUATSïO. Espacio para las manifestaciones artísticas y el fortalecimiento de la identidad indígena y comunal en Ihuatzio, Michoacán. El proyecto del Centro Comunal JIUATSÏO se proyectó como un espacio abierto a todos los habitantes de la comunidad, cuya finalidad es servir como un lugar para la realización de actividades culturales, artísticas y civiles; con la finalidad de enaltecer la cultura local, la identidad indígena y reforzar el sentido de pertenencia. Espacios para la realización de talleres de pintura, música, artes plásticas y escénicas, así como para la exhibición de muestras gráficas, conciertos, charlas, ponencias, mesas redondas, danza y demás actividades conforman este centro. Para llegar a la solución arquitectónica se analizaron tanto datos del usuario (su forma de vivir, de pensar, de actuar) como datos físico geográficos y del entorno urbano, técnico y funcional. La propuesta final, es una edificación contemporánea, que se contextualiza con el lugar donde se proyectó. La imagen urbana de la comunidad es quien define el lenguaje visual del centro y toma como referente los colores, texturas, materiales y procesos constructivos que dan forma al entorno formal.
