Por esta razón es importante impulsar y desarrollar proyectos destinados a la recreación y esparcimiento, por medio de rescate de áreas verdes y espacios residuales dentro de las urbes que están siendo desaprovechados ya que estos tienen y aportan un gran potencial para el mejoramiento de imagen urbana por lo que en este trabajo está enfocado al rescate de verdes en el Fraccionamiento Lomas de Morelia., por medio de un proyecto de parque lineal. Los parques en las ciudades juegan un rol importante ya que son sitios donde la vegetación actúa como barrera de sonido y atractivo visual. Una característica importante del terreno donde se plantea el proyecto es que constantemente se está reforestando, por los mismos habitantes de la zona, con la finalidad de crear un espacio más agradable a la vista y al mismo tiempo mejorando la calidad de vida de los mismos esto ayuda a mejor el ambiente y el aire.
