Throughout history people with disabilities have been socially excluded, in most cases, their social participation is conditioned, imposing social, cultural and physical “barriers” that prevent them from being able to carry out general activities. Adding to this the label that they have been given because they are different, they are placed in a position of inferiority, which results in treating them as people unable to fend for themselves. For this reason, this project is carried out to try to provide from the architecture a solution generating a building expressly where they can go to perform recreational activities or preparation, giving the opportunity to develop for a possible integration into society either in a regular school or for some work, as long as your disability allows it (Sensory, physical, intellectual, mental disability). A lo largo de la historia las personas con discapacidad han sido excluidas socialmente, en la mayoría de los casos, se condiciona su participación social, imponiéndoseles “barreras” sociales, culturales y físicas que impiden el poder realizar actividades generales. Sumando a ello la etiqueta que se les ha puesto que por ser diferentes se les coloca en una posición de inferioridad, lo que tiene como consecuencia el tratarlos como personas incapaces de valerse por sí mismas. Por este motivo se realiza este proyecto para tratar de aportar desde la arquitectura una solución generando un edificio exprofeso donde puedan acudir a realizar actividades recreacionales y o de preparación, otorgando la oportunidad de desarrollarse para una posible integración a la sociedad ya sea en una escuela regular o para algún trabajo, en tanto su discapacidad lo permita (Discapacidad sensorial, física, intelectual, mental). Se analizó los antecedentes históricos del tema, los datos relevantes de Morelia, como su historia, el usuario, el público hacia quien va dirigido el proyecto, el clima que tiene la ciudad de Morelia, en la parte urbana en donde ubicar el establecimiento, como se llevaría a cabo el proyecto tanto en lo constructivo como en lo conceptual.
