Revitalización urbana en el Centro Histórico de Morelia: entorno inmediato de la calle Matamoros

Abstract

The city is, possibly, the invention, the most fascinating and transcendent construction of realities by men throughout history. Where most of the inhabitants can have practical practice in their lives and let their expectations run, they even have the ability to articulate some memory of the urban space, building a mime for themselves in a city different from that of others. This project is sustained thanks to the collective and collaborative work of the TARU workshop, where a methodology that involves activities with students of different academic levels is followed up, fruitful. With the help of the results obtained from the research, data collection and processing work, the topic of this work was obtained, the increased interest in reviving a section of the Historic Center of the city of Morelia, taking Matamoros street as the initial line. and consequently the San Cristóbal Ecatepec street, pointing out its importance due to the determination to be a world heritage city and state capital. All this with the adaptation of the affected properties to recreational and leisure spaces, in addition to implementing urban real estate and vegetation, attracting population sectors in the city, including city tourism.

La ciudad es, seguramente la invención, la construcción más fascinante y trascendente de las realidades por los hombres a lo largo de toda la historia. Donde la mayoría de los habitantes ponen en práctica sus vidas y dejan correr sus expectativas, incluso posee la capacidad de articular algún recuerdo del espacio urbano, construyendo para sí mimo una ciudad distinta a la de los demás. El presente proyecto se sustenta gracias al trabajo colectivo y colaborativo del taller TARU, en donde se realizó seguimiento de una metodología que conllevaba actividades con estudiantes de distintos niveles académicos, permitiendo fructificarlo. Con ayuda de los resultados obtenidos a partir del trabajo de investigación, levantamiento y procesamiento de datos se obtuvo el tema del presente trabajo, el cual surge del interés de revivir una sección del Centro Histórico de la ciudad de Morelia, tomando como línea inicial la calle Matamoros y en consecuente la calle San Cristóbal Ecatepec, señalando su importancia debido a la consideración de ser una ciudad patrimonio de la humanidad y capital del estado. Todo esto con la adaptación de los inmuebles existentes a espacios recreativos y de ocio, además de implementar inmobiliario urbano y vegetación, permitirá atraer a los sectores de población en la ciudad, incluyendo el turismo de la misma.
