Centro cultural y deportivo en Villas del Pedregal, municipio de Morelia, Michoacán.

Abstract

This thesis document is an investigation of conflicts and needs of the western sector of the city of Morelia, resulting in an architectural proposal that aims to help improve the quality of life of the inhabitants by promoting cultural activities and research and sports. The data obtained after the investigation highlights as the main problems in the area a high rate of insecurity, drug sales, violence against women and urban marginalization. This situation causes a socioeconomic status that forces people to subsist with scarce resources and not have the means necessary to satisfy the needs. The urban equipment is decadent in the western part of the city, compared to the central and southern areas. In Villas del Pedregal there is a shortage of educational, recreational and cultural facilities, considering that the existing ones are saturated and do not have a functional design, consequently its inhabitants look elsewhere for opportunities to improve their quality of life. This document was designed with the objective of Offering a functional, comfortable architectural project, with modern, pleasant spaces that facilitate learning and recreation, create a meeting point between the artist, the public and students, have the appropriate architectural spaces to carry out artistic displays, cultural events, concerts and promoting physical exercise and a healthy lifestyle. In the design process, topographic aspects of the terrain, climatology of the area, cultural aspects, tastes and preferences of the population, technical-normative and technical constructive analysis were considered, the project obtained as much with a cultural building that integrates spaces for the different artistic expressions and a sports area made up of multipurpose courts, a skating area and games.

El presente documento de tesis es una investigación de conflictos y necesidades del sector poniente de la ciudad de Morelia dando como resultado una propuesta arquitectónica que pretende ayudar a mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes fomentando actividades culturales e investigación y deporte. Los datos obtenidos tras la investigación destacan como principales problemas de la zona un alto índice de inseguridad, venta de drogas, violencia contra la mujer y marginación urbana esta situación provoca un estado socioeconómico que obliga a las personas a subsistir con escasos recursos y no contar con los medios necesarios para satisfacer las necesidades. El equipamiento urbano es decadente en la zona poniente de la ciudad, en comparación con la zona centro y sur. En Villas del Pedregal se tiene una escasez de instalaciones educativas, recreativas y culturales, considerando que las existentes presentan saturación y no tienen un diseño funcional por consecuencia sus habitantes buscan en otros lugares oportunidades para mejorar su calidad de vida. Este documento se diseñó con el objetivo de Ofrecer un proyecto arquitectónico funcional, confortable, con espacios modernos, agradables que faciliten el aprendizaje y la recreación, crear un punto de reunión entre el artista, público y estudiantes, contar con los espacios arquitectónicos adecuados para realizar muestras artísticas, eventos culturales, conciertos y promover el ejercicio físico y una forma de vida saludable. En el proceso de diseño se consideraron aspectos topográficos del terreno, climatología de la zona, aspectos culturales, gustos y preferencias de la población, análisis técnico-normativos y técnico-constructivos, el proyecto obtenido cuanta con un edificio de cultura que integra espacios para las diferentes expresiones artísticas y un área deportiva conformada por canchas de usos múltiples, área de patinaje y juegos.
