For this reason, the initiative is taken to propose the design of an architectural project for a Regional Theater in the city of Apatzingán, Michoacán. It seeks to combat cultural decadence by providing a recreational space, where Apatzingán citizens who still continue with the traditions and customs of the region, have a place to present themselves in a formal way, a place where they continue to transmit inherited knowledge to new generations. In addition, economic benefits would be obtained with the generation of new jobs and an improvement to the urban image.
La ciudad de Apatzingán presenta una decadencia relativa a la identidad cultural regional, causada por distintas vertientes, las principales a considerar son: La narcocultura, causante de rezagos sociales, mala influencia para las personas, a nivel municipal, a nivel estatal y para todo el país. Y, por último, la falta de iniciativa del gobierno para fomentar la cultura en la región de Tierra Caliente. Por ello se toma la iniciativa de proponer el diseño de un proyecto arquitectónico para un Teatro Regional en la ciudad de Apatzingán, Michoacán. Con la finalidad de tratar de solventar estos rezagos culturales a nivel regional. Se busca combatir la decadencia cultural al brindar un espacio recreativo, donde los ciudadanos apatzinguenses que aún continúan con las tradiciones y costumbres de la región, tengan un lugar donde presentarse de manera formal, un lugar donde seguir transmitiendo a las nuevas generaciones los conocimientos heredados y con ello conservar una identidad regional adecuada y de agrado para la ciudad de Apatzingán. Además, se obtendrían beneficios económicos con la generación de nuevos empleos y un mejoramiento a la imagen urbana.
