The urban image is a part of the identity of a city, in this case, the one in the historic center of Puruandiro city will be specifically studied, since each element present has a reason for being present or not, and Investigating the history of the place allows us to have an approach to its essence, through the diachronic process, understanding that the social part is substantial when it comes to talking about it. Aiming to preserve our architectural heritage, and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants who enjoy the benefits of an improvement, so this proposal through an investigation and analysis of the historic center of the city of Puruándiro, is suggested implementation or modification of ornaments, colors or any other element that makes up the facades of the chosen paths, the elements of the urban image present in them, among others to be considered according to the Proposal for the Improvement of the Urban Image in the Historic Center of Puruándiro, presented in this thesis, all this through an analysis of each aspect mentioned.
La imagen urbana es parte de la identidad de una ciudad, en este caso se estudiará específicamente la del centro histórico de Puruándiro, Michoacán, pues cada elemento presente tiene una razón de estar presente o no, e indagar en la historia del lugar nos permite tener un acercamiento a la esencia de la ciudad a través del proceso diacrónico, entendiendo que la parte social es sustancial cuando se habla de ello. Teniendo como objeto preservar nuestro patrimonio arquitectónico, y mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes quienes disfruten de los beneficios de un mejoramiento, por lo que esta propuesta a través de una investigación y análisis del centro histórico la ciudad de Puruándiro, se la sugiere implementación o modificación de ornamentos, colores o cualquier otro elemento que compone las fachadas de las sendas elegidas, los elementos de la imagen urbana presentes en ellas, entre otras a considerar acorde a la Propuesta de Mejoramiento de Imagen Urbana en el Centro Histórico de Puruándiro, presentado en esta tesis, todo esto mediante un análisis de cada aspecto mencionado.
