Abstract

Public spaces are the heart of the activities that people carry out in their daily lives, because it is thanks to them that we have the freedom to move from one point to another, to communicate with the different places that a city, town or community offers, giving the opportunity to express ourselves and build relationships with each other. For each individual there will be different places with a certain importance for them, be it their workplace, their home, that place where they go to have fun and spend time with their friends or partner, or even a space where they can spend a moment alone. Some of these sites will be private, but others will be public. The latter can represent in many cases of great importance to mark and reflect the people who use stories spaces, since their mere existence affects the habits of the inhabitants and their quality of life. It is in this way that the theme of this work focuses on a project designed to positively influence the inhabitants of a neighborhood that has little access to a recreational space, which is in marginal conditions and suffers from insecurity. So that the designed space is intended to help change the way the neighborhood is perceived, inviting people to make use of public space, reactivating and giving life and safety to the streets.

Los espacios públicos son el corazón de las actividades que realizan las personas en su cotidianidad, pues es gracias a estos que tenemos libertad para movernos de un punto a otro, de comunicarnos con los distintos lugares que ofrece una ciudad, pueblo o comunidad, dando la oportunidad de expresarnos y entablar relaciones unos con otros. Para cada individuo existirán diferentes sitios con cierta importancia para ellos, ya sea su lugar de trabajo, su vivienda, aquel lugar donde va a divertirse y pasar tiempo con sus amigos o pareja, o incluso un espacio donde poder pasar un momento a solas. Algunos de estos sitios serán de orden privado, pero otros lo serán de orden público. Éstos últimos pueden representar en muchos casos de gran importancia para marcar y reflejar a las personas que utilizan tales espacios, pues su mera existencia repercute en los hábitos de los habitantes y en su calidad de vida. Es de esta manera que el tema del presente trabajo se enfoca en un proyecto pensado para que influya de manera positiva en los habitantes de una colonia que cuenta con poco acceso a un espacio recreativo, que se encuentra en condiciones marginales y sufre de inseguridad. De modo que se busca que el espacio diseñado ayude a cambiar la manera en la que se percibe la colonia, invitando a las personas a hacer uso del espacio público, reactivando y dando vida y seguridad a las calles.
