In the housing case, the ages of its inhabitants change, as do their needs, however the lack of adequate spaces limits the possibility of the constant change that nature itself demands over time, not to mention the changes due to COVID-19.

Una herramienta que se ha vuelto muy importante en el campo de la arquitectura, es la "reutilización". No solamente por los grandes beneficios respecto al ahorro del inversionista, o respecto a los bienes del propio inmueble, sino también trae un bien para los habitantes de la zona, ya que evita los focos de inseguridad que se resguardan al interior de una casa o edificio abandonado. Los edificios en su mayoría, de cualquier tipo, hasta la actualidad son construidos para un solo fin o uso, si es una casa, solo esas necesidades cubren, si es comercial, igual, lo cual genera un deterioro en la economía del inversionista y en el confort del usuario.
