Prototipo de vivienda autoconstruible en la colonia San Isidro Itzícuaro, Morelia, Michoacán

Abstract

This thesis project is inclined towards the development of housing for the people of the San Isidro Itzicuaro neighborhood, located in the north of the city of Morelia, Michoacán in Mexico, who live in conditions of poverty, where self-construction without technical advice is recurrent, and was inspired by the constant growth of neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city, where people live in unsafe conditions and incidents where homes are damaged are recurrent. Studies are carried out within the neighborhood where information is obtained about its inhabitants, reviewing their way of living, the typology of their homes where most are built with easily combustible materials such as waste and recycling, their customs, analogies to the project and they propose solutions to the problem based on this. The main objective of this project is to provide the inhabitants of San Isidro Itzicuaro with a housing prototype that meets the basic needs of families and that can be self-constructed, progressive, modular, versatile, comfortable and safe for its users. It is important to point out that this thesis project does not intend to promote the development of this type of neighborhoods, however, it is not possible to prevent them from continuing to arise, but as architects we can support so that these homes that are built in any way can be safer.

Este proyecto de tesis se inclina hacia el desarrollo de vivienda para las personas de la colonia San Isidro Itzicuaro, ubicada en el norte de la ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán en México, que viven en condiciones de pobreza, donde la autoconstrucción sin asesoramiento técnico es recurrente, y se inspiró debido al constante crecimiento de los barrios en la periferia de la ciudad, donde las personas viven en condiciones inseguras y son recurrentes los incidentes donde se siniestran viviendas. Se realizan estudios dentro de la colonia donde se obtiene información sobre sus habitantes, revisando su forma de vivir, la tipología de sus viviendas donde la mayoría están construidas con materiales de fácil combustión como desechos y reciclaje, sus costumbres, las analogías al proyecto y se proponen soluciones a la problemática con base en esto. El principal objetivo de este proyecto es proporcionar a los habitantes de San Isidro Itzicuaro un prototipo de vivienda que cubra las necesidades básicas de las familias y que pueda ser autoconstruible, progresivo, modulable, versátil, cómodo y sobre seguro para sus usuarios. Es importante señalar que este proyecto de tesis no pretende fomentar el desarrollo de este tipo de barrios, sin embargo, no es posible evitar que sigan surgiendo, pero como arquitectos podemos apoyar para que estas viviendas que de cualquier forma son construidas puedan ser más seguras.
