Reúso adaptativo para el Museo Nuestro Maravatío

Abstract

The following thesis project proposes the rehabilitation and expansion of the Museo Nuestro Maravatío, inserting it in a new heritage building, located in the center of the city of Maravatío, Michoacán. It only has the facade and side walls. The project arose from the need to create an adequate space for the museum, since the current location does not have enough space for its proper functioning. At the same time, it is proposed to implement a space for artists and artisans to exhibit their works and thus have a greater reach, since they do not have a fixed place to carry out their exhibitions. Considering regulations, norms and restorations to the building, as well as the harmony with the context, it is intended to implement this proposal in such a way that it works properly and attracts the attention of both artists and society in general, promoting culture and social participation.

El siguiente proyecto de tesis propone el Reuso Adaptativo para el Museo Nuestro Maravatío, insertándolo en un nuevo inmueble de carácter patrimonial, ubicado en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Maravatío, Michoacán. En el cual se rescatarán los muros preexistentes de la fachada original de la antigua casa habitación del famoso prestamista de la región “El burro de oro”. El proyecto surge de la necesidad de crear un espacio adecuado para el museo, el cual satisfaga las necesidades de los usuarios y del museo; así como también rescatar un inmueble valioso para los maravatienses dándole un nuevo uso. A su vez, se plantea implementar un espacio para que los artistas y artesanos locales expongan sus obras y así tener un mayor alcance, ya que no tiene un lugar fijo para llevar a cabo sus exposiciones. Considerando reglamentos, normas y restauraciones al edificio, así como la armonía con el contexto, se pretende implementar esta propuesta de manera que funcione correctamente y atraiga la atención tanto de los artistas y artesanos como de la sociedad en general, fomentando la cultura y la participación social.
