Adquisición de nociones algebraicas usando software: el caso de Dragon box 12+

Abstract

The introduction to school algebra, requires a change in the student's way of thinking, which is why the cognitive processes involved in learning algebra play a very important role to consider within the teaching trends. Simultaneously, in the mathematical field, reflecting on the relationship of Didactics of Mathematics with the practice of teaching, encourages the incorporation of tools that facilitate and strengthen it. One of these tools, and the one that could be considered the most versatile and useful, is the incorporation of technological tools within the teaching of Mathematics. In this work we will give a proposal for the acquisition of algebraic notions through the use of an educational software called Dragon Box 12+, using teaching trends that incorporate technology as motivation.

La introducción al álgebra escolar requiere de un cambio en el pensamiento del estudiante, es por esto, que los procesos cognitivos involucrados en el aprendizaje de algebra juegan un papel muy importante a considerar dentro de las propuestas de enseñanza. Simultáneamente, en el rubro matemático, el reflexionar sobre las relaciones de la Didáctica de las Matemáticas con la práctica de la enseñanza impulsan a incorporar herramientas que la faciliten y la fortalezcan. Una de estas, y la que más podría ser considerada versátil y útil, es la incorporación de herramientas tecnológicas dentro de la enseñanza de las Matemáticas. En este trabajo daremos una propuesta para la adquisición de nociones algebraicas mediante el uso de un software educativo llamado Dragon Box 12+, usando como motivación las tendencias de enseñanza que incorporan tecnología.
