The anguish is hence an extremely important concept in our times it requires of a meticulous study to understand it. The individual is also in a dichotomy between the quantitative thing and the qualitative thing. The qualitative thing has to do with the interiority and the recognize of something; and the quantitative thing mentions a times that secede something in the exterior, that which should be recognized as certain or as true. With the result that the anguish appeared before this problem, for the fact of being the individual before he/she swims her. One would have then to distinguish a quality or ien a quantity of anguish felt to say that the individual has fallen. However, it is not this way, because the anguish is the projection that the individual makes throughout his life. That projection is the one that one can say that it is the properly this anguish, before which the individual is tormented.
La angustia es un concepto sumamente importante en nuestros tiempos por ello requiere de un estudio minucioso para comprenderlo. Por tal razón se parte del análisis de la obra del filósofo Sorören Kierkegaard titulada El concepto de la angustia. Ya que en la actualidad dicho concepto (la angustia) se encuentra inmerso en la vida diaria y cotidianidad que el individuo vive o experimenta continuamente (un ejemplo es el estrés, la falta de empleo, el divorcio, son algunos síntomas de la angustia a la que el individuo se enfrenta en la modernidad y por qué no, en toda su existencia dentro del mundo). Así la angustia es y debe ser el punto medular del existencialismo por el cual partirá en análisis del presente trabajo. Con base en esa obra de desglosan tres capítulos. El primero de ellos parte del ámbito histórico y muestra cómo el individuo ha sentido angustia por desterrado del mundo ideal o fantástico en el cual se encuentra viviendo; pero el individuo siempre tiene que elegir entre lo ideal y lo real que encuentra en la existencia. De esta manera la angustia surge por el hecho de decidir entre una u otra cosa. Pero lo único que ayuda al individuo a salir de esa dicotomía es la fe que se pone en las cosas infinitas. El individuo también se encuentra en una dicotomía entre lo cuantitativo y lo cualitativo. Lo cualitativo tiene que ver con la interioridad y el reconocimiento de algo; y lo cuantitativo alude a las veces que sucede algo en el exterior, lo cual debe ser reconocido como cierto o como verdadero. De ahí que la angustia aparece ante este problema, por el hecho de encontrarse el individuo ante la nada. Se tendría entonces que distinguir una cualidad o ien una cantidad de angustia sentida para decir que el individuo ha caído. Sin embargo, no es así, pues la angustia es la proyección que el individuo hace a lo largo de su vida. Esa proyección es la que se puede decir que es la angustia propiamente dicha, ante la cual el individuo se atormenta.
