This work addresses a predator-prey model with Allee effect on the prey; in addition, a functional response type Holling II is considered, which has been studied by Aguirre et al. in [1]. In order to carry out a broader study, we study the diffusion with the purpose of investigating the presence of instabilities, that generate coherent structures such as Turing patterns or traveling wave type solutions. Finally, we provide numerical explorations where these structures are evidenced.
En el presente trabajo se aborda un modelo presa-depredador con efecto Allee en la presa; se considera un funcional de respuesta de tipo Holling II, el cual ha sido estudiado por Aguirre y colaboradores en [1]. Con la finalidad de realizar un estudio más amplio, se considera la difusión con el propósito de investigar la presencia de inestabilidades que dan origen a estructuras coherentes como los patrones de Turing o soluciones de tipo onda viajera. Finalmente, proveemos exploraciones numéricas donde se evidencian dichas estructuras.
