For the past 15 years I have been teaching philosophy at the Nicolaita High School, during this time I have gone through different experiences that have allowed me to reassess the teaching activity, but it has helped me to rethink the way philosophy It is usually taught. This has been possible thanks to a series of reflections from a problematic perspective to justify the teaching of philosophy to teenagers. In this way, it was proposed in this report to answer the following questions: How to approach the teaching of philosophy from the teacher’s perspective? What is the point of teaching philosophy to high school students? What can be taught from philosophy? Can you teach philosophy? The search for possible answers led me to analyze the elements that make up a type of teaching with philosophical nuances to properly develop the teaching activity and awaken interest in students for this subject, in addition to justifying the relevance of the subject in this academic level. For this purpose, I worked on a series of preconceived ideas that the teaching of philosophy entails. The first of these was to interpret whether the students' own capacities for philosophical thinking are effectively developed. The second assumption starts from the interpretation that philosophy is only taught and learned in research institutes or in philosophy schools. Finally, there are different approaches to the subject, ranging from the historical perspective to the theoretical and logical analysis of philosophy, which is a problem in choosing which perspective is the most appropriate for teaching this subject and the didactics that allow the best results. Finally, the teaching of philosophy implies a reflection on philosophy itself, since I consider that its analysis constitutes a problem of the philosophical task.
