Caracterización de los sistemas de ganado equino en el municipio de Apatzingán Michoacán

Abstract

Today many phenomena studied are explained partially without taking into account aspects that interact with the phenomenon analyzed for it and because of the complexity of investigations in the agricultural field, where a number of elements and components for achieving interact one objective, seeks to analyze the phenomenon through the general theory of systems. In the state of Michoacán, the percentage of economically active population engaged in agricultural activities is 30% of the total (INEGI, 2000). If you take into account that there is a total of 226.941 units of rural production that make 3'404,950.5 hectares in the state. With an average size per unit of production of 15 hectares; This contrasts with the average at the national level, which is 24.6 hectares (INEGI, 1991). In production systems equine Michoacán, there is great ignorance about the situation in which these systems operate, as well as the problems that affect them. For this reason, the present research aims to make a characterization systems equines, in the municipality of Apatzingán, belonging to the Rural Development District 086 (SAGARPA) in the state of Michoacán de Ocampo.

En la actualidad muchos fenómenos estudiados quedan explicados parcialmente sin que se tenga en cuenta aspectos que interactúan con el fenómeno analizado, por ello y debido a la complejidad de las investigaciones en el ámbito agropecuario, donde interactúan una serie de elementos y componentes para el logro de un solo objetivo, se busca analizar el fenómeno a través de la teoría general de los sistemas. En el estado de Michoacán, el porcentaje de población económicamente activa que se dedica a actividades agropecuarias es del 30% del total (INEGI, 2000). Si se toma en cuenta que en el estado existe un total de 226,941 unidades de producción rurales que conforman 3´404,950.5 hectáreas. Con un tamaño promedio por unidad de producción de 15 hectáreas; lo que contrasta con el promedio en el ámbito nacional, que es de 24.6 hectáreas (INEGI, 1991). En los sistemas de producción equina de Michoacán, existe un gran desconocimiento acerca de la situación en la que operan dichos sistemas, así como la problemática que los afecta. Por esta razón el presente trabajo de investigación pretende realizar una caracterización de los sistemas de ganado equino, en el municipio de Apatzingán, perteneciente al Distrito de Desarrollo Rural 086 (SAGARPA) en el estado de Michoacán de Ocampo.
