Principales enfermedades que afectan al gallo de combate en el municipio de Morelia

Abstract

The data collected, about fowl birds, have the objective of highlighting their importance as a species, in the Economic, Cultural and Social sector, as well as collecting information on the diseases that most affect them in the Municipality of Morelia Michoacán, making a query in associations and clubs registered in the National Federation of Breeders, visiting 35 galleras, with the objective of conducting an interview and collecting the necessary information, the most common diseases are: Marek's Disease, Avian Pox, Newcastle, Avian Cholera, Infectious Coryza , Salmonella, Ringworm, Coccidiosis and Lice. With the data obtained, the appropriate bibliography was searched for the elaboration of this document, which is limited and difficult to access. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out more studies on fighting birds and collect specific data on their management, their breeding techniques and implement better sanitary, zootechnical and Biosecurity controls, as well as to advise breeders about the risks that exist and do not know of diseases, and the impact they can have on the Avicola Sector and Public Health.

Los datos recabados, sobre las aves de combate, tienen el objetivo de resaltar su importancia como especie, en el sector Económico, Cultural y Social, así como recopilar información sobre las enfermedades que más les afectan en el Municipio de Morelia Michoacán, realizando una consulta en asociaciones y club registrados en la Federación Nacional de criadores, visitando 35 galleras, con el objetivo de realizar una entrevista y recabar la información necesaria, las enfermedades que más comunes son: Enfermedad de Marek, Viruela Aviar, Newcastle, Cólera Aviar, Coriza Infecciosa, Salmonela, Tiña, Coccidiosis y Piojos. Con los datos obtenidos se buscó la bibliografía adecuada para la elaboración del presente documento, la cual es limitada y de difícil acceso. Por tal motivo es necesario realizar más estudios sobre las aves de combate y recabar datos específicos, sobre su manejo, sus técnicas de crianza e implementar mejores controles sanitarios, Zootécnicos y de Bioseguridad, así como asesorar a los criadores sobre los riesgos que existen y desconocen de las enfermedades, y el impacto que pueden tener en el Sector Avícola y la salud pública.
