La abeja (Apis mellifera) como agente polinizador en huertos de aguacate en las canoas en el municipio de Ario de Rosales Michoacán

Abstract

The bee (Apis mellífera) is one of the insects that lives in societies, performing different activities within the hive, the queen bee performs the function of reproduction and egg laying. The drone is responsible for mating with the queen, the worker bee performs almost all tasks such as cleaning, wet nurse, builder, guardian and pecoreadora. The main food source of the bee (Apis mellífera) is obtained from the flowers in the form of nectar, which is basically made up of water and sugars, along with pollen, which is made up of the flower's male reproductive material. These two products are of utmost importance since the honey is produced by the bee. The purpose of this work is to make known the importance of the use of the bee (Apis mellífera) as a pollinating agent in avocado orchards, because the consumption of food of plant origin constitutes the most important fraction of the diet of most people. Precisely, the production of food of plant origin, depends to a great extent on the pollination by animals (pollinating agents) with optimal physical characteristics so that they carry out the transport of pollen from the male gamete of the flower (stamen) to the female gamete (pistil) of it. Obtaining pollination as a result of this union. The avocado plant has a great flowering, giving these in turn bisexual flowers since they present stamens and pistils at the same time, but having their functions at different times of the day. Avocado is a futo originating in the new world, used as food for Mesoamerican populations. Today the avocado cultivation has presented an increase in the interest of the national and foreign market. Positioning the state of Michoacán with its different municipalities as one of the main avocado producers.

La abeja (Apis mellífera) es uno de los insectos que vive en sociedades, realizando diferentes actividades dentro de la colmena, la abeja reina realiza la función de reproducción y postura de huevos. El zángano se encarga de aparearse con la reina, la abeja obrera realiza casi todas las tareas tales como la limpieza, nodriza, constructora, guardiana y pecoreadora. La principal fuente de alimento de la abeja (Apis mellífera) la obtienen de las flores en forma de néctar que se compone básicamente de agua y azucares, junto con el polen que está constituido por el material reproductor masculino de la flor. Estos dos productos son de suma importancia ya que con estos la abeja elabora la miel. El propósito de este trabajo, es dar a conocer la importancia que tiene el uso de la abeja (Apis mellífera) como agente polinizador en huertas de aguacate, debido a que el consumo de alimentos de origen vegetal constituye la fracción más importante de la dieta de la mayoría de las personas. Precisamente, la producción de alimentos de origen vegetal, depende en gran medida de la polinización por animales (agentes polinizadores) con características físicas óptimas para que lleven a cabo el transporte de polen desde el gameto masculino de la flor (estambre) hasta el gameto femenino (pistilo) de la misma. Obteniendo como resultado de esta unión la polinización. La planta de aguacate, cuenta con una gran floración dando estas a su vez flores bisexuales ya que presentan estambres y pistilos al mismo tiempo, pero teniendo sus funciones en diferentes horas del día. El aguacate es un futo originario del nuevo mundo, utilizado como alimento para las poblaciones mesoamericanas. Hoy en día el cultivo del aguacate ha presentado un alza en el interés del mercado tanto nacional como extranjero. Posicionando a el estado de Michoacán con sus diferentes municipios como uno de los principales productores de aguacate.
