Historia de la Escuela Preparatoria “José Ma. Morelos” de H. Zitácuaro, Michoacán

Abstract

Education is the most important tool to get out of the economic, political and social backwardness of a country like ours, in this case upper secondary education is one of the basic steps for the educational formation of the individual since it defines his profession to face to the future. The structure of this thesis is presented in three chapters: the first chapter describes the object of study, alluding to the "José Ma. Morelos" high school and its social environment. The approach to the problem is made known, which in this case is the lack of historical information of the aforementioned institution and the importance it currently has as one of the busiest institutions in the municipality of Zitácuaro since it houses around 850 students of the level upper middle of the zone; the delimitation of the temporary space that includes from 1973 to 2006; the justification of this research project whose essential characteristic is precisely the lack of historical information on the high school, among other things; the objectives to be achieved and the methodology used in the course of the investigation. For the development of the second chapter, the "Statistical Notebook of the Municipality of Zitácuaro" was consulted, which allowed obtaining information on macrosocial characteristics such as population and its distribution, detecting the main economic activities in the region and, above all, the existing educational level. In the microsocial description, the "Statistics of the General Baccalaureate of the Secretary of Public Education and the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics" was very useful, the content of which yielded valuable information about the students of this institution; an ocular description of the existing infrastructure on campus is also disclosed.

La educación es la herramienta más importante para salir del atraso económico, político y social de un país como el nuestro, en este caso la educación media superior es uno de los peldaños básicos para la formación educativa del individuo ya que define su profesión para hacer frente al futuro. La estructura de la presente tesina se presenta en tres capítulos: el primer capítulo describe el objeto de estudio haciendo alusión a la preparatoria “José Ma. Morelos” y su entorno social. Se da a conocer el planteamiento del problema, que en este caso es la falta de información histórica de la mencionada institución y la importancia que tiene en la actualidad como una de las instituciones más concurridas del municipio de Zitácuaro pues alberga alrededor de 850 estudiantes del nivel medio superior de la zona; la delimitación del espacio temporal que comprende de 1973 a 2006; la justificación de este proyecto de investigación cuya característica esencial es precisamente la falta de información histórica de la preparatoria, entre otras cosas; los objetivos que se pretenden lograr y la metodología utilizada en el transcurso de la investigación. Para el desarrollo del segundo capítulo se consultó el “Cuaderno Estadístico del Municipio de Zitácuaro” que permitió obtener información sobre las características macrosociales tales como de la población y su distribución, detectar las principales actividades económicas de la región y sobre todo el nivel educativo existente. En la descripción microsocial fue de gran utilidad la “Estadística del Bachillerato General de la Secretaría de Educación Pública e Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática” cuyo contenido arrojo valiosa información acerca de los alumnos de esta institución; también se da a conocer una descripción ocular de la infraestructura existente en el plantel.
