La materia de Historia en el primer grado, en la escuela secundaria federal

Abstract

Education is an exciting topic in which many and varied factors intervene that make it become controversial. It will not stop arguing if education serves to legitimize actions of the regimes in power, or if this is a liberating action of individuals. Although it is true that education in the country has had a slight increase, it has not been enough to such an extent that students, especially at the secondary level, present great deficiencies in knowledge, for this reason the present work has been prepared based on the concern that I feel for contributing to the improvement of the quality of the education that is imparted in secondary schools, specifically in the subject of History. This investigation is based on the choice of a problem that was detected through daily work performance. The present work arises from a particular concern, when observing that the knowledge that the first-year secondary student must have in the subject of History is confused, or often forgotten, on the other hand, the student shows a certain rejection and displeasure. The teaching task manifests a series of actions, in which one of them is the management of the methodology in education, within the secondary level, which is why the interest in addressing the problem that currently exists in the methodology applied to the history teaching.

La educación es un tema apasionante en el que intervienen muchos y variados factores que hacen que ésta se convierta en polémica. No dejara de polemizarse si la educación sirve para legitimar acciones de los regímenes en el poder, o bien, si esta es una acción liberadora de los individuos. Si bien es cierto que la educación en el país ha tenido un ligero incremento, no ha sido suficiente a tal grado que los alumnos, sobre todo del nivel de secundaria presentan grandes deficiencias de conocimiento, por ello el presente trabajo ha sido elaborado tomando como base la inquietud que siento por contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad de la educación que se imparte en las escuelas de educación secundaria, concretamente en la asignatura de Historia. Esta investigación parte de la elección de un problema que fue detectado a través del desempeño laboral diario. El presente trabajo surge de una inquietud particular, al observar que los conocimientos que el alumno de primero de secundaria debe tener en la asignatura de Historia se encuentran confusos, o muchas veces olvidados, por otro lado, el alumno muestra cierto rechazo y desagrado. El quehacer docente manifiesta una serie de acciones, en las cuales una de ellas es el manejo de la metodología en la educación, dentro del nivel de secundaria, es por ello, el interés por abordar el problema que existe actualmente en la metodología aplicada a la enseñanza de la Historia.
