The historical research works whose purpose is the prosopographic rescue of collectivities and/or characters, are incipient within higher education institutions in the state of Michoacán. In the case of the Faculty of History of the Michoacana University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo, there are around 14 undergraduate theses and three dissertations whose content deals with the life and work of specific individuals, around which Various efforts were made to locate them in the historical totality to which they belonged through various historiographical visions and methodological procedures. Among the reference exercises, it is worth mentioning those carried out by the graduate Guadalupe García Torres, who in 1983 analyzed and interpreted the Memoirs of a Greek immigrant named Teodoro Pappateho Dorov, with an excellent setting of the stage and circumstances in which this character lived. In turn, Osvaldo Héctor Arias Avaca, prepared the thesis entitled Julio César Jobet (1912-1980): Chilean Socialist Historian, which includes the long historical and social process of that Andean nation during most of the 20th century. While Juana Patricia Pérez Murguía carried out the Clemente de Jesús Munguía investigation, through which the core part of the career of the controversial ecclesiastical hierarch of the Reformation era stands out. No less interesting is the study carried out by Adriana Pineda Soto called Mariano de Jesús: journalist and historian, managing to locate this extraordinary individual in the social and cultural context of the second half of the 19th century and the first decades of the following in the context of Michoacan and Morelia.
Los trabajos de investigación histórica que tienen como propósito el rescate prosopográfico de colectividades y/o personajes, son incipientes al interior de las instituciones de educación superior en el estado de Michoacán. Para el caso de la Facultad de Historia de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, se registran alrededor de 14 tesis del nivel de licenciatura y tres tesinas cuyo contenido versa sobre la vida y obra de individuos en lo específico, en torno a los cuales se efectuaron diversos esfuerzos para ubicarlos en la totalidad histórica a la que pertenecieron a través de diversas visiones historiográficas y procedimientos metodológicos. De entre los ejercicios de referencia cabe mencionar los realizados por la egresada Guadalupe García Torres, quien en 1983 analizó e interpretó las Memorias de un inmigrante griego llamado Teodoro Pappateho Dorov, con una excelente ambientación del escenario y circunstancias en las que vivió este personaje. A su vez, Osvaldo Héctor Arias Avaca, elaboró la tesis titulada Julio César Jobet (1912-1980): Historiador socialista chileno, que incluye el largo proceso histórico y social de esa nación andina durante la mayor parte del siglo XX. Mientras que Juana Patricia Pérez Murguía efectúo la investigación Clemente de Jesús Munguía, a través de la cual destaca la parte medular de la trayectoria del controvertido jerarca eclesiástico de la época de la Reforma. No menos interesante es el estudio realizado por Adriana Pineda Soto denominado Mariano de Jesús: periodista e historiador, logrando ubicar a este extraordinario individuo en el contexto social y cultural de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y las primeras décadas del siguiente en el contexto propio de Michoacán y Morelia.
