Abstract

The important historical facts have been captured in documents, with which we can affirm the existence of some transcendental moment in history, through them we can analyze the cause and consequence, this is what makes an archive vitally important, without forget the social actors involved in these processes, in this case the information cataloged is of a legal nature, which is not only for historical research, but also for sociological, anthropological and other disciplines such as Law. Due to the aforementioned, it is our duty to keep the documents that are stored in the archives in good condition because they are unique and irreplaceable, we must also organize them and create tools that facilitate better access to the information contained in the documents, for which the collaboration of the archivists who are the ones who are prepared to order the files in the most correct way, supporting the researchers in their consultation. But what is an Archive: From very remote times, the human being realized that it was necessary to create documents in which events that were happening to him were recorded, to use them in a diverse way as annotations or contracts. These documents were kept in various places such as temples or palaces, as was the case in Greece and Rome. Defining what an Archive is, Doctor Aurelio Tanodi tells us that the archive is the building where the documentation of an entity or an institution is kept.

Los hechos históricos importantes han quedado plasmados en documentos, con los cuales podemos afirmar la existencia de algún momento trascendental en la historia, a través de ellos podemos analizar la causa y consecuencia, esto es lo que hace que un archivo sea de vital importancia, sin olvidar a los actores sociales que intervienen en estos procesos, en este caso la información catalogada es de índole jurídica, la cual no solo para la investigación histórica, si no para la sociológica, antropológica y otras disciplinas como el Derecho. Por lo anteriormente mencionado es nuestro deber conservar los documentos que se resguardan en los archivos en buenas condiciones por ser únicos e irremplazables, además debemos organizarlos y crear herramientas que faciliten un mejor acceso a la información que contienen los documentos, para lo cual es indispensable la colaboración de los archivistas que son quienes están preparados para ordenar los archivos de la manera más correcta, apoyando a los investigadores en su consulta. Pero que es un Archivo: Desde tiempos muy remotos el ser humano se dio cuenta de que había que crear documentos en los cuales se registraran acontecimientos que iban sucediéndole, utilizarlos de manera diversa como anotaciones o contratos. Estos documentos se resguardaban en diversos lugares como templos o palacios como fue el caso de Grecia y Roma. Definiendo lo que es un Archivo el Doctor Aurelio Tanodi nos dice que el archivo es el edificio donde se conserva la documentación de una entidad o una institución.
