Abstract

The figures that are handled in the Statistical Analysis make evident the demographic crisis that caused the Independence movement, it was a phenomenon that contributes to explain the situation of abandonment in which the towns found themselves to fight for the restitution and defense of their assets of collective usufruct , mainly in the land, in front of the public policies that the federal and state administrations of liberal origin in agrarian matters implemented throughout the 19th century and the first years of the following one, under the perception that the disintegration of the forms of property communal land would cooperate to reactivate the economy as a whole, and that in the specific case of the rural sector would promote the formation of a large and crowded land market, which would support sustained growth in agricultural production. With the purpose of contributing to the dissemination of the documentary historical memory of the State, as well as obtaining the degree of Bachelor of History, I consider of great importance the elaboration of a Documentary Catalog, of one of the documentary Series that are guarded and protected in the General and Historical Archive of the Executive Branch of Michoacán, under the Directorate of Archives of the Executive Branch. The documentary material treated is about the series: "Libros de Hijuelas" Numbers 7, 8, 9 and 11, of the District of Uruapan, which belongs to the Fund: Secretary of Government; Section: Government. Book number 10 does not exist, for this reason my archival description covers up to book number 11.

Las cifras que se manejan en el Análisis Estadístico hacen evidente la crisis demográfica que ocasionó el movimiento de Independencia fue un fenómeno que contribuye a explicar la situación de abandono en que se encontraron los pueblos para pugnar por la restitución y defensa de sus bienes de usufructo colectivo, principalmente en la tierra, frente a las políticas públicas que instrumentaron a lo largo del siglo XIX y los primeros años del siguiente, las administraciones federales y estatales de procedencia liberal en materia agraria, bajo la percepción de que la desintegración de las formas de propiedad comunal del suelo cooperarían a reactivar la economía en su conjunto, y que para el caso concreto del sector rural propiciaría la conformación de un amplio y concurrido mercado de tierras, que sustentaría un sostenido crecimiento de la producción agropecuaria. Con el propósito de contribuir en la difusión de la memoria histórica documental del Estado, así como obtener el grado de Licenciada en Historia, considero de gran importancia la elaboración de un Catálogo Documental, de una de las Series documentales que se custodian y resguardan en el Archivo General e Histórico del Poder Ejecutivo de Michoacán, dependiente de la Dirección de Archivos del Poder Ejecutivo. El material documental tratado es sobre la serie: “Libros de Hijuelas” Números 7, 8, 9 y 11, del Distrito de Uruapan, el cual pertenece al Fondo: Secretaría de Gobierno; Sección: Gobernación. El libro número 10 no existe, por tal motivo mi descripción archivística abarca hasta el libro numero 11.
