The introduction of public services in the city of Morelia , allowed the foundation for the development of society moreliana and urban growth , a phenomenon that was happening in the big cities in the postrevolutionary period , due to population growth gestaran the migration of peoples and rural communities to the cities ; As a result , urban needs grew , thus the demand and consumption of water and therefore changes in the structure of supply of this resource is required . It is important to make a historical account of the processes of implementation of drinking water in the country , in the state of Michoacán and in particular in the city of Morelia, in order to understand the creation and development of institutions that regulate drinking water management and sanitation. In the case of water management and sanitation had a period from 1936 to 1952 in Morelia , there was the need to resolve problems relating to the quality and quantity of water , at present water quality is not good , because we can not take tap water and change in other countries if they do, because of their filtration systems and treatment technologies fluid, so try to show in this research, that this administration is part of the history of the shortcomings that still live in the system of administration of drinking water and sanitation in Morelia.
