Our investigation is a case theme, because we approach to a particular place where different administrative and geografical modifications were taken by the Crown and the Catholic church as an allied in the conquest. Being like that, in a first moment we find Chucandiro in the prehispanic time as a tributarian town to the tarascan Irechekua, and so in the spanian conquest it would still be tributarian. In the administration of the Habsburg it would be present with the charge and deputy and deputy mayor with the implementation of the mayors ordinance in New Spain, reform implemented by the Borbones. Chucandiro would become as the subdelegation of 1788-1804 and in 1804 would be added to the subdelegation of Cuitzeo, for being considdered by the second mayor of Michoacan Diaz de Ortega as a poor subdelegation.
