Abstract

This catalog describes the documents contained in boxes 171-176, of the Series: Passports, Section: Government, Fund: Secretariat of Government, corresponding to 1977, protected in the General and Historical Archive of the Executive Power of Michoacán (AGHPEM ); Documents generated for the processing of the ordinary provisional passport, issued by the Secretary of Government of Michoacán. The theoretical part of this work paper addresses justification, objectives; The analysis of methodology and archival technique required in this work. Two studies of the history of institutions are included; The first corresponds to A.G.H.P.E, since it is the depository that protects the fund; The second study refers to the institution that generates the documentation, that is, the Secretary of Government. There is also a descriptive analysis to the documentary series passports, followed by the study of the regulation for the expedition and passport visa, together with the typology of the same. Also included is the historical essay "Michoacán on migration Mexico-United States 1848-1977". The technical part corresponds to the 503 catalogs referring to the documentation of the series: passports, along with several annexes such as: three indexes, one onomastic, another geographical (place of origin, place of destination) and personal data; The archivalia (quantification and qualification of the documents of the series), several graphs that account for the aforementioned information. This part of the catalog transforms documentary research concrete data, is the numerical accounting, of this catalog corresponding to the series of passports.

El presente catálogo describe los documentos contenidos en las cajas 171-176, de la Serie: Pasaportes, Sección: Gobernación, Fondo: Secretaría de Gobierno, correspondiente al año de 1977, resguardada en el Archivo General e Histórico del Poder Ejecutivo de Michoacán (A.G.H.P.E.M); documentos generados para la tramitación del pasaporte provisional ordinario, emitido por la Secretario de Gobierno de Michoacán. La parte teórica de este trabajo aborda la justificación, objetivos; el análisis de metodología y técnica archivística necesarias en este trabajo. Se incluye dos estudios de historia de las instituciones; el primero corresponde A.G.H.P.E, por ser la entidad depositaria que resguarda el fondo; el segundo estudio refiere a la institución generadora de la documentación, es decir la Secretaria de Gobierno. También hay un análisis descriptivo a la serie documental pasaportes, seguido por el estudio del reglamento para la expedición y visa de pasaporte, aunado a la tipología del mismo. Además se incluye el ensayo histórico “Michoacán en la migración México-Estados Unidos 1848-1977”. La parte técnica corresponde a las 503 fichas catalograficas referentes a la documentación de la serie: pasaportes, junto a varios anexos como son: tres índices, uno onomástico, otro geográfico (lugar de origen, lugar de destino) y de datos personales; la archivalia (cuantificación y cualificación de los documentos de la serie), varias graficas que contabilizan la información antes mencionada. Esta parte del catálogo transforma la investigación documental datos concretos, es la contabilidad numérica, de este catálogo correspondiente a la serie de pasaportes.
