Abstract

This documentary catalog has a total of 560 files, which were made based on the documents belonging to the series of hijuelas (the hijuelas are the books that give testimony of the agrarian distribution that was carried out in the different communities of the state and In them it is possible to appreciate the process that was followed to take said distribution) of the District of the Piedad these documents are under the shelter of the General and Historical File of the Executive Power of Michoacán. It complements itself with a historical study, to help us analyze and understand the context in which the country was developing and its process of distribution of communal lands in the years 1869-1905 both at the national level and State, taking as main point the laws and decrees that were dictated during that period.

Éste catalogo documental cuenta con un total de 560 fichas, las cuales se realizaron en base a los documentos pertenecientes a la serie de hijuelas (las hijuelas son los libros que dan testimonio del reparto agrario que se llevó a cabo en las distintas comunidades del estado y en ellos se puede apreciar el proceso que se siguió para llevarse dicho reparto) del Distrito de la Piedad dichos documentos se encuentran bajo el resguardo del Archivo General e Histórico del Poder Ejecutivo de Michoacán. Se complementa su vez con la realización de un estudio histórico, para que nos ayude a analizar y comprender el contexto en que se estaba desarrollando el país y su proceso de repartición de las tierras comunales en los años de 1869-1905 tanto a nivel nacional como estatal, tomando como punto principal las leyes y decretos que se dictaminaron durante ese periodo.
