The present investigation approaches the process of construction of the triumphant imaginaries in Mexico during the period of 1857-1917, as a fundamental part of the national ideology. The categories and concepts that we use for the analysis respond to the need of the concrete reality of the 19th century and try to problematize every political and social aspect of the subject of study. It can be fully observed that the construction of social imaginaries fully coincides with the political and economic conditions of Mexican nineteenth-century society. With the study of the production of ideology in images and legal ideology, each specific fragment of the national identity is delimited, its development starting from the need to constitute a nation-state that guarantees social harmony and economic prosperity. In this sense, art and constitutions serve as analytical inputs to support the process of construction of imaginaries in Mexico.
La presente investigación aborda el proceso de construcción de los imaginarios triunfante en México durante el periodo de 1857-1917, como parte fundamental de la ideología nacional. Las categorías y conceptos que usamos para el análisis responden a la necesidad de la realidad concreta del siglo XIX e intentan problematizar cada aspecto político y social del tema de estudio. Se puede observar plenamente que la construcción de los imaginarios sociales coincide plenamente con las condiciones políticas y económicas de la sociedad mexicana decimonónica. Con el estudio de la producción de ideología en imágenes y de la ideología jurídica se va acotando cada fragmento específico de la identidad nacional, de su desarrollo a partir de la necesidad de constituir un Estado-nación que garantizara una armonía social y una prosperidad económica. En este sentido, el arte y las constituciones fungen como insumo de análisis para fundamentar el proceso de construcción de los imaginarios en México.
