Oligarquía, milicia y poder. Biografía política de Ramón Huarte (1782-¿1850?)

Abstract

The present work entitled “Oligarchy, militia and power. “Political biography of Ramón Huarte (1782-1850?)”. Aims to unveil the life of Ramón Huarte, one of the many oligarchical characters of Valladolid, forgotten and rarely mentioned by local historiography. This research has the essence of recovering and rescuing the figure of Ramón Huarte through a new interpretation that will allow the reader and the historian to become familiar with their context, and will also help to meet a specific actor in the political life of the city of Valladolid and explain the different circumstances in which this character was immersed.

El presente trabajo titulado “Oligarquía, milicia y poder. Biografía política de Ramón Huarte (1782-¿1850?)” tiene como objetivo develar la vida de Ramón Huarte, uno de los tantos personajes oligárquicos de Valladolid, olvidado y muy poco mencionado por la historiografía local. Esta investigación tiene como esencia recuperar y rescatar la figura de Ramón Huarte a través de una nueva interpretación que permitirá al lector y al historiador familiarizarse con su contexto, además, ayudará a conocer a un actor concreto de la vida política de la ciudad de Valladolid y explicar las distintas circunstancias en las que se vio inmerso este personaje.
