Literatura y resistencia: el infrarrealismo en México 1970-1977

Abstract

Throughout the 20th century In Mexico groups of writers were form and they had a close relation with the government, which allowed them to get privileged positions into the cultural scope. That was reflect throughout to obtaining to prizes, publications, grants, and government employment. In the decade of 1970, for the six-year period of Luis Echeverría Álvarez, were implement several cultural policies such as the creation of literature workshop to regain confidence of youth and student sector that they had lost after the Matanza de Tlateloco and the Halconazo. Was in this context that were developed different anti-establishment groups against the government and the cultural elite trough of artistic expressions. In that sense, in the present investigation I approach to the infrarrealista literature movement (1975-1977) founded in Distrito Federal, that had the objective create a literary alternative to the established. This work analyzes the group from an historic perspective, approaching they literary productions and subversive activities against of the official writers. To achieve understand how was that Infrarrealismo become in a resistance act against to the officiality of its time.

A lo largo del siglo XX, en México se conformaron diversos grupos de escritores que tuvieron una marcada cercanía con el gobierno, permitiéndoles obtener posiciones privilegiadas dentro del ámbito cultural, y que se vio reflejado a través de la entrega de premios, publicaciones, becas y puestos públicos. En la década de 1970, durante el sexenio de Luis Echeverría Álvarez, se impulsaron una serie de políticas culturales como la creación de talleres literarios, con la intención de recobrar la confianza de los sectores juveniles y estudiantiles que se había perdido con los acontecimientos de la matanza de Tlatelolco y el Halconazo. Fue en este contexto, que se desarrollaron diversos grupos contestatarios contra el gobierno y la élite cultural a través de expresiones artísticas. En este sentido, en la presente investigación abordaré al movimiento literario infrarrealista (1975-1977) fundado en el Distrito Federal, mismo que tuvo como objetivo crear una alternativa literaria a la establecida. Este trabajo se centra en analizar al grupo desde una perspectiva histórica, abordando sus producciones literarias y actividades subversivas en contra de los escritores oficiales, para lograr entender cómo fue que el Infrarrealismo se convirtió en un acto de resistencia ante la oficialidad de su tiempo.
