The farm of Charahuén and its surrounding peoples in the Agrarian Reform: A History of Covenants and Conflicts (1890-1940), is a work that refers to the history and development of the farm as social and economic formation. It focuses on the analysis of its fractionation to provide with ejidal lands the peasants of the surrounding peoples and the establishment of a new population center, which emerges from the agricultural endowment and social relations with the owner of the farm generating a new local social configuration within the agricultural nucleus. To reconstruct the recent history of Charahuén, interviews were conducted with the peasant actors and heirs of that story and information sources of archives, interviews in the localities were consulted as a tool of oral history and field tours in recognition of the geographical question.
La hacienda de Charahuén y sus pueblos colindantes en la Reforma Agraria: Una historia de pactos y conflictos (1890-1940), es un trabajo que refiere a la historia y desarrollo de la hacienda como formación social y económica. Se concentra en el análisis de su fraccionamiento para dotar con tierras ejidales a los campesinos de los pueblos circunvecinos y el establecimiento de un nuevo centro de población, que emerge de la dotación agraria y las relaciones sociales con el propietario de la hacienda generando una nueva configuración social local al interior del núcleo agrario. Para reconstruir la historia reciente de Charahuén, se realizaron entrevistas a los campesinos actores y herederos de esa historia y se consultaron fuentes informativas de archivos, entrevistas grupales como herramienta de la historia oral y recorridos de campo en reconocimiento de la cuestión geográfica.
