Abstract

The documentary catalog was made in the Parish Historical Archive of San Pedro Paracho, of the first book of marriages, it is worth mentioning that it is, the first that has been made in said historical collection. The main content of the work is the nuptials carried out during the years of 1917 to 1926, which list the priest, the couple, the witnesses, the date and place where the sacrament was performed. The present work is a tool for archival research conducted by historians within historical archives. It is important, because it helps us to preserve the documentary heritage, avoiding the constant manipulation of the cataloged book and ensuring the conservation of the documents protected in the historical collections; it facilitates the location of the information of the archive, allowing researchers to search for the topics that are of interest to them. In addition, we achieve the integration, conservation and dissemination of archives. The work is based on the legislations issued by the Mexican State, such as: The Law is Federal and General of Archives; in the context or state the Law of Administrative and Historical Archives of the State of Michoacán de Ocampo and its municipalities and the Law of Archives of the State of Michoacán de Ocampo. For the realization of the documentary catalog, we use the International General Standard of Archival Description ISAD-G, being the methodological instrument to standardize the archival description worldwide.

El catalogo documental se realizó en el Archivo Histórico Parroquial de San Pedro Paracho, del primer libro de matrimonios, cabe mencionar que es, él primero que se ha realizado en dicho acervo histórico. El contenido principal de la obra son las nupcias llevadas a cabo durante los años de 1917 hasta 1926, se enlistan al presbítero, la pareja, los testigos, la fecha y el lugar donde se realizó el sacramento. El presente trabajo es una herramienta para la investigación archivística realizada por los historiadores dentro de los archivos históricos. Es importante, porque nos ayuda a conservar el patrimonio documental, evitando la constante manipulación del libro catalogado y asegurar la conservación de los documentos resguardados en los acervos históricos; facilita la localización de la información del archivo, permitiendo a los investigadores la búsqueda de los temas que sean de su interés. Además, logramos la integración, conservación y difusión de los archivos. La obra está sustentada en las legislaciones emitidas por el Estado mexicano, como son: las Leyes Federal y General de Archivos; en el contexto estatal la Ley de Archivos Administrativos e Históricos del Estado de Michoacán de Ocampo y sus municipios y la Ley de Archivos del Estado de Michoacán de Ocampo. Para la realización del catalogo documental, utilizamos La Norma Internacional General de Descripción Archivística ISAD-G, siendo el instrumento metodológico para estandarizar la descripción archivística a nivel mundial.
