Morelia is currently one of the most important, beautiful and visited cities in the Mexican Republic. In the following thesis we will know the importance of Tourism for our Country, our state of Michoacán and in particular for the City of Morelia. Morelia is a city recognized nationally and internationally for its Architectural Beauties, it’s Historic Center, which is the second largest in the country. For the harmony of the whole, the architectural and traditional value it holds, Morelia was appointed by the World Patronage Committee of UNESCO "World Heritage of Humanity" on December 12, 1991. On the other hand, the capital of state, is an ideal place to visit, thanks to its historic center, its colonial monuments such as the Cathedral, the Tarascas, the Aqueduct, its beautiful public squares, the College of San Nicolás de Hidalgo, more than 10 interesting museums and a market of sweets and handicrafts, where the tourist can acquire the traditional michoacanos sweets, like ates and the exquisite morelianas, or in his defect, the typical craftsmanship of the whole state of Michoacán. Also known as "Land of Magnificent Craftsmen", the artistic expression of handicrafts reflects the mixture of indigenous and Spanish styles. The delicious gastronomy of our state and the city of Morelia are unique, the combination of purépechas recipes with European meats and spices make us even more attractive with our tourists.
Morelia en la actualidad es una de las ciudades más importantes, bellas y visitadas de la República Mexicana. En la siguiente Tesis conoceremos la importancia del Turismo para nuestro País, nuestro estado de Michoacán y en particular para la Ciudad de Morelia. Morelia es una ciudad reconocida Nacional e Internacionalmente por sus Bellezas Arquitectónicas, de su Centro Histórico, el cual es el segundo más grande del País. Por la armonía en su conjunto, el valor arquitectónico y tradicional que guarda, Morelia fue nombrado por parte del Comité del Patronato Mundial de la UNESCO “Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad” el día 12 de Diciembre de 1991. Por otro lado, la capital del estado, es un sitio ideal para visitar, gracias a su centro histórico, sus monumentos coloniales tales como la Catedral, las Tarascas, el Acueducto, sus preciosas plazas públicas, el Colegio de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, más de 10 interesantes museos y un mercado de dulces y artesanías, donde el turista puede adquirir los tradicionales dulces michoacanos, como ates y las exquisitas morelianas, o en su defecto, la artesanía típica de todo el estado de Michoacán. Ciudad también reconocida cono “Tierra de Magníficos Artesanos” la expresión artística de las artesanías refleja la mezcla de estilos indígena con español. La deliciosa gastronomía de nuestro estado y de la ciudad de Morelia son únicos, la combinación de recetas purépechas con carnes y especias europeas nos hacen ser aún más atrayentes con nuestros turistas.
