Businesses have become increasingly complex, causing the need for individuals and elements integrated companies understand the purpose of the organization and be more self-sufficient; and also learn the concept of maximizing the value of the company to achieve better results and better yields. In this context the shareholder relationship - business has evolved to form a complex framework for action by both sides. So it is necessary to use new corporate tools able to meet the expectations of shareholders; on the one hand the shareholders expect the value of their capital through decisions made by senior management and other senior management looks for ways to be more efficient in its decision-making increases. One of the most rewarding moments that can live any entrepreneur or established company after arduous working hours, stress, review, analysis, modifications, mistakes, learning and hard work to achieve his goal, is certainly the time to evaluate the achievements and the effects of profitability achieved. In this paper we will observe the influence of profitability for decision-making, financing and operation of the Economic Value Added EVA for its acronym in English (Economic Value Added), a tool that large companies have implemented, as all items belonging to it; this being a management indicator that was coined by the firm Stern Stewart & Co. and is defined as the excess value that a business provides. At present businesses, small or large businesses need different tools to achieve the maximization of their activities; either from a good policy, to a method to calculate what a company actually earns.
