Los gobiernos indígenas hacía un desarrollo comunal en la región purépecha

Abstract

This research will address the problems faced by the P'urhépecha people when they want to establish their government based on their customs and leave aside the common form of municipal government. This alternative arises from disenchantment with the electoral political system since historically they have not been considered for decision-making on matters that affect them. The community has been governed with a model based on their customs, the aim is to analyze the impact that indigenous governments have to trigger development in communities, if a relationship can be established between self-government and communal development. On the other hand, answer the question: what is development for Purépecha communities? It will be observed that the answer is not simple since there are different projects and also challenges such as violence and the resistance of municipal governments to recognize rights

En esta investigación se abordará la problemática que enfrentan las comunidades de la región purépecha al querer constituir su gobierno basado en sus usos y costumbres. Esta alternativa surge del desencantó con el sistema político electoral ya que históricamente no se les ha tomado en cuenta para la toma de decisiones de los asuntos que les afecta. Las comunidades han comenzado a autogobernarse y ejercer el presupuesto que les corresponde, la pretensión es analizar el impacto que tienen los gobiernos indígenas para detonar el desarrollo en las comunidades, si se puede establecer una relación entre autogobierno y desarrollo comunal. Por otra parte, contestar a la pregunta ¿qué es el desarrollo para las comunidades purépechas? Se observará que no es sencilla la respuesta ya que hay distintos proyectos y también desafíos como la violencia y la resistencia de los gobiernos municipales.
