The NSAID´s (Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs) are widely used drug in the service of Gynecology and Obstetrics to help to down the pain in the women hospitalized in this service, the goal of this study were to characterize and describe the use of the NSAID´s for women with immediate and mediate postpartum, who were hospitalized in the service of Gynecology and Obstetrics in the ¨Dr. Miguel Silva¨ Hospital, as well as their differences with the national clinical practice guidelines and evaluate the occurrence of drug adverse reactions (DAR´S) associated with the use of NSAID´s in each group of patients of the service of Gynecology and Obstetrics. A observational, descriptive, retrospective and transversal study was realized by reviewing records of pharmacovigilance program and clinical records of January 2014, descriptive statistics were used to describe the results of the variables obtained; the arithmetic average to evaluate quantitative parameters, statistical mode and percentage to evaluate qualitative parameters. For this study was considered a total of 277 clinical records adjusted to inclusion that matched the inclusion criteria, of which 155 (56%) were physiological childbirth and 122 (44%) were 155 were surgical childbirth. In the service tree types of therapies was prescribed, two of these was prescribed to physiological childbirth; simple therapy (only one NSAID prescribed) 86 % (133 patients), dual therapy (two NSAID´s prescribed) 14% (22 patients), and to surgical child birth; simple therapy 16 % (20 patients), dual therapy 71% (86 patients) and triple therapy (three NSAID´s prescribed) 13% (16 patients). During the study period, the service was not reported any DAR associated with the use of NSAID´s.
Los AINE’s son medicamentos altamente utilizados en los servicios de Ginecología y Obstetricia para ayudar a disminuir el dolor en las mujeres hospitalizadas en este servicio, lo que nos llevó a plantearnos para este estudio como objetivos el caracterizar y describir el uso de AINE’s utilizados en pacientes con postparto inmediato y postparto mediato en el servicio de Ginecología y Obstetricia del Hospital General Dr. Miguel Silva, así como sus diferencias con las guías de práctica clínica nacionales y evaluar las incidencias de RAM´s ocasionadas por AINE´s en cada grupo de pacientes del servicio de Ginecología y Obstetricia. Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal, mediante la revisión de expedientes del programa de farmacovigilancia y expedientes clínicos del mes de enero del año 2014, se utilizó estadística descriptiva para describir los resultados de las variables obtenidas; la media para parámetros cuantitativos y la moda y el porcentaje para parámetros cualitativos. Para este estudio se tomaron en cuenta un total de 277 expedientes que se ajustaron a los criterios de inclusión, de los cuales 155 fueron de parto fisiológico (56%) y 122 de parto quirúrgico (44%). En el servicio se prescribieron tres tipos de terapias de las cuales 2 de estas se les prescribieron a las pacientes de parto fisiológico; terapia simple (un solo AINE prescrito) 86 % (133 pacientes) y terapia doble (dos AINE’s prescritos) 14 % (22 pacientes) y para parto quirúrgico; terapia simple 16% (20 pacientes), terapia doble 71% (86 pacientes), terapia triple (tres AINE’s prescritos) 13% (16 pacientes). Durante este periodo no fue reportada ninguna incidencia de RAMS por el uso de AINE’s en el servicio.
