Melon is an excellent source of antioxidants, which protect against chronic diseases and delay aging. It is produced with a high number of inputs, among which fertilizers stand out in order to maximize yields. However, due to the pollution they generate, it is necessary to look for more environmentally friendly alternatives that generate benefits to the crop. The use of seaweeds and diatoms can be an alternative. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of seaweeds and diatoms on morphological variables and yield components of the melon crop. The genetic material used was Kapaz F1. Seven treatments were evaluated: Sargasum, Ascophillum, Diatom seaweed, Sargasum + Ascophillum, Sargasum + Diatom seaweed, Ascophillum + Diatom seaweed, Sargasum + Ascophillum + Diatom seaweed and a control treatment. The experimental design used was a randomized complete block design with four replications, which generated 32 experimental units. The variables were analyzed with SAS at 0.05 probability. The combination of seaweeds and diatoms Sargasum + Ascophillum, Sargasum + diatom seaweeds, Ascophillum + diatom seaweeds, Sargasum + Ascophillum + diatom seaweeds generated the highest values in length of the main guide, number of guides, stem diameter, number of leaves and number of herbal flowers, number of leaves and number of hermaphrodite flowers as well as in yield components such as number of fruits per plant, polar diameter, equatorial diameter and soluble solids, while the lowest values were found in the control treatment.
