El presente trabajo incluye una basta información de lo que es el proceso de enfermería y la filosofía de Virginia Henderson, la fisiopatología de la Hipertensión Arterial, al final se encuentran las conclusiones, sugerencias, glosario de términos, bibliografías y anexos en este apartado se encuentra el instrumento para la valoración, así como la Norma Oficial Mexicana para la prevención, control y tratamiento de la Hipertensión Arterial.
