Nivel de autoconcepto de los adultos mayores de un asilo comparado a los que viven con su familia

Abstract

There are four chapters in the theoretical framework, the first gives us arguments on which Callista Roy's theory of the adaptation model of the Self-concept section is based, which will be used as a reference framework for this research. The second chapter deals with the elderly, the phenomena associated with aging, its main characteristics, the changes caused by aging and its main theories. In the third chapter, the self-concept of the older adult is discussed. And in the fourth chapter comprehensive nursing care for the elderly. The research aims to develop the knowledge that guides and supports the practice and discipline of nursing. This presupposes awareness and recognition of their roles and responsibilities in the health service.

Los capítulos con los que cuenta en marco teórico son cuatro, el primero nos da argumentos en los que se sustenta la teoría de Callista Roy del modelo de adaptación del apartado del Autoconcepto, la cual, se utilizará como marco de referencia de esta investigación. En el segundo capítulo se habla del adulto mayor, los fenómenos que se asocian al envejecimiento, sus principales características, los cambios a causa del envejecimiento y las principales teorías del mismo. En el Tercer capítulo se habla del Autoconcepto del adulto mayor. Y en el cuarto capítulo los cuidados de enfermería integral para el adulto mayor. La investigación tiene como objetivo desarrollar el conocimiento que guía y apoya la práctica y la disciplina de enfermería. Esto presupone una concienciación y reconocimiento de sus funciones y responsabilidades en el servicio de salud.
