Orem's self-care deficit theory; as a reference framework for the application of the Nursing Process.
El presente trabajo trata de la aplicación del proceso de enfermería en una paciente con hipertensión arterial, enfermedad grave en la que no se manifiestan síntomas por eso es conocido también como el “asesino silencioso” que puede llevar a la muerte si no es tratada o prevenida oportunamente. El contenido del trabajo está estructurado de la siguiente forma; Introducción, que abarca un resumen sobre el contenido del presente trabajo, la Justificación, donde se menciona la importancia de la aplicación del Proceso de Enfermería, y como actúa el personal de enfermería ante los diferentes tipos de problemas, los Objetivos general y específicos van enfocados al Proceso de Enfermería y sus cinco etapas, la Metodología, que procede el cómo se llevó a cabo y el diseño que se manejó para la mejoría de la paciente, el Caso Clínico abarca la redacción de la paciente con los datos generales y actuales, en el Marco Teórico se aborda los antecedentes históricos del proceso enfermero su concepto, antecedentes, objetivos, etapas que abarca y sus características, desglosando también la teoría del déficit del autocuidado de Dorothea E. Orem; como marco referencial para la aplicación del Proceso de Enfermería.
