Las reformas borbónicas. Un balance histórico-bibliográfico

Abstract

In the bourbon reforms. A historical bibliographic review the works of the various authors who, from there, perspective, have analyzed some important aspect of the period of the government of the bourbon dynasty in new Spain, from the social, political, economic, cultural, educational, i.e. this issue is from different facets. It includes a critique of the work in question by the author of the dissertation, where they try to confront different works that talk about the same aspect of the subject of study. The above is done in chronological order, starting from 1950 to 1910, using this temporality because it is considered that 2010 is a historic watershed for this topic is addressed here. Critical historiography is used in the analysis of these works as it is considered that through it a new reinterpretation can be given to the current state of the subject of bourbon reforms and thereby contribute to what has already been written to the subject in question. It also seeks to seek to find the bases that gave rise and foundation to the bourbon reforms, so it also analyzes the international historical context that at that time prevailed in the new Spain analyzing some of the authors of the enlightenment, it is also much debated whether they are reforms of a centralist nature or seek, on the contrary the decentralization of power, It also analyzes in an important way the effect that the bourbon reforms had in the gestation of the independence movement, which structurally modified the system of socioeconomic situation of an emerging country, influencing in the formation of the new nation-state.

En las reformas borbónicas. Un balance histórico bibliográfico se aborda de manera sistemática las obras de los diversos autores que, desde su perspectiva, han analizado algún aspecto importante del período del gobierno de la dinastía de los Borbón en la nueva España, desde el ámbito social, político, económico, cultural, educativo, es decir se aborda esta temática desde distintas facetas. Se incluye una parte de crítica de la obra en cuestión por parte de la autora de la tesina, donde se tratan de confrontar con distintas obras que hablan sobre el mismo aspecto de la temática objeto de estudio. Lo anterior se realiza en orden cronológicos, partiendo de 1950 hasta 1910, utilizando esta temporalidad porque se considera que el 2010 es un parteaguas histórico para la temática que aquí se aborda. Se utiliza la historiografía crítica en el análisis de dichas obras ya que se considera que a través de ella se puede dar una nueva reinterpretación al estado actual de la temática de las reformas borbónicas y con ello contribuir a lo ya escrito a la temática en cuestión. Se busca también buscar encontrar las bases que dieron origen y cimiento a las reformas borbónicas, por ello también se analiza el contexto histórico internacional que en ese momento prevalecía en la Nueva España analizando a algunos de los autores de la ilustración, también se debate mucho si son reformas de índole centralista o buscan, por el contrario la descentralización del poder, se analiza también y de manera importante el efecto que las reformas borbónicas tuvieron en la gestación del movimiento independentista, el cual modificó de forma estructural el sistema socioeconómico de un país emergente, influyendo decisivamente en la formación del nuevo Estado-nación.
