Prevalencia de los pacientes con crisis hipertensiva tipo emergencia con daño cardiovascular, que ingresan al servicio de urgencias del Hospital General Regional No. 1, Charo, Michoacán

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertensive crisis is the acute elevation of systolic blood pressure (BP) >180 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure (BP) >120 mmHg. It is divided into hypertensive emergency when it does not affect the target organ and as hypertensive emergency, when it causes repercussions on the target organ, this is associated with greater morbidity and mortality, and endangers the patient's life; whereas the severity of the condition is not determined by the absolute BP numbers but, rather, by the magnitude of the acute elevation in BP numbers. There are various clinical manifestations based on damage to the target organ, of which cardiovascular manifestations are the most frequent in the emergency department of hospitals. Objective: Determine the prevalence of patients with emergency-type hypertensive crisis with cardiovascular damage, who enter the emergency department of regional general hospital no. 1, Charo, Michoacán. Through the review of patients' clinical records; from January to June 2023 Material and methods: an observational, descriptive, retrospective study will be carried out on patients who entered the emergency department from January to July 2023 at Regional Hospital No1. With cardiovascular clinical data of hypertensive emergency with the objective of studying the prevalence, secondarily the sociodemographic variables such as gender and age such as diabetes.

Introducción: Crisis hipertensiva es la elevación aguda de la presión arterial (PA) sistólica >180 mmHg y diastólica >120 mmHg. Se divide en urgencia hipertensiva cuando no muestra alteración a órgano blanco y como emergencia hipertensiva, cuando causa repercusión en órgano blanco, esta se asocia a mayor morbimortalidad, y pone en peligro la vida del paciente; considerando que la gravedad de la condición no está determinada por las cifras absolutas de la PA sino, más bien, por la magnitud dela elevación aguda de las cifras de PA. Se tienen diversas manifestaciones clínicas en base al daño a órgano Diana, de las cuales, las manifestaciones cardiovasculares son las más frecuentes en el servicio de urgencias de los hospitales. Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de los pacientes con crisis hipertensiva tipo emergencia con daño cardiovascular, que ingresan al servicio de urgencias del hospital general regional no. 1, Charo, Michoacán. A través de la revisión de expedientes clínicos de los pacientes; de enero a junio del 2023 Diseño: Retrospectivo, descriptivo, observacional. Material y métodos: se realizará un estudio observación, descriptivo, retrospectivo, de los pacientes que ingresaron al servicio de urgencias enero a julio 2023 en el hospital Regional No1. Con datos clínicos cardiovasculares de emergencia hipertensiva con el objetivo de estudiar la prevalencia, secundariamente las variables sociodemográficas como género y edad como diabetes mellitus, hipertensión arterial, dislipidemia, insuficiencia cardiaca, obesidad y edema agudo de pulmón de origen cardiogénico se estudiará también las cifras de presión arterial a su ingreso al área de urgencias así también las características clínicas, así como hallazgos bioquímicos.
